AN OVERVIEW OF THE COUNCIL.
The Architects Registration Council (ARC) is the government of Ghana regulatory body for the architectural profession. It was established through the Architects Act 1969, NLCD 357. The ARC is an Agency of the Ministry of Works and Housing (MWH). It is overseen by a board of 10 members.

Individuals should always endeavor to contact an architect in the event of a need to design a building or engage in any building project. The public is thus advised to engage registered architects to achieve value for money and a safer environment. The public is also advised to seek for confirmation on the status of any architect from the Council prior to engaging such a person.
